Tregg and Naomi had a digital photography course together in the spring semester of 2015. Once he learned that Naomi was going to Japan as well, every day Tregg came into class he would ask if she had purcahsed her tickets yet.
Naomi and Tregg had their first dinner together with a mutual friend. That friend got up to use the restroom leaving them alone together. They twiddled their thumbs awkwardly and watched the TVs in the restaurant as they waited for their friend to return.
Naomi greeted Tregg with a (much needed) huge hug in LA after a long delay and tiring flight from Denver. While sitting on the airplane in LA, waiting to head to Tokyo, he sent Naomi a text message about the hand towels they had been handed by the flight attendants. He asserts this was not intentional flirting, but she thinks otherwise.
After 12 days of long walks, museum visits, and design studio talks, Tregg and Naomi kissed in Kyoto, Japan. It's important to note that this occurred on a New Moon.
Once they were back in the states, they took two days to make the relationship official.
Tregg and Naomi say "I love you". (Things are moving fast!) After learning that they both had the same habit of looking at the moon and thinking "My future spouse is looking at the same moon I am." throughout their youth, they knew it was destiny. This happened on a Full Moon.
After a year of being in love, Tregg got on one knee and proposed to the love of his life, Naomi.
Tregg and Naomi will get married! This will happen on a New Moon.
